Hardscape Lighting
Some outdoor features look good in daylight and disappear at night. A waterfall becomes a sound with nothing to look at. A pergola turns into a dark shape at the end of the yard. Hardscape lighting is the work of building light into stone, water, and structure so the features you paid for keep working after sunset.
This is the part of landscape lighting with the least margin for error. Fixtures go into wet locations, into masonry, and into places you can't easily get back to. Done well, you never see the source — only what it lights.
Water Feature Lighting
Lighting a waterfall takes more than aiming a fixture at the rocks. The water must be lit from below and behind the fall line so light travels through the moving sheet instead of creating glare on the surface.
On a multi-tier water feature, each drop is treated separately. Different heights and water volumes require different fixture positions and output levels to preserve depth from the patio, walkway, or primary viewing area.
Vivid uses fully submersible fixtures rated for continuous immersion. Each fixture is positioned to stay out of sight while remaining accessible for cleaning, because mineral scale and algae can reduce light output over time.
